The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust partners with We Can Talk

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and We Can Talk have partnered to make mental health training available across the organisation.

More than 4,000 staff, students and volunteers at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust — which serves a population of around 350,000 people across West Essex and East Hertfordshire, at sites in Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping — can now access the one-hour, all-age course designed to build confidence in supporting patients who attend hospital in a mental health crisis.

About We Can Talk

We Can Talk is a one-hour, self-directed mental health training course, created with people who have lived experience of attending hospital in a mental health crisis. It gives every member of hospital staff — clinical and non-clinical — the knowledge, skills and confidence to support patients in mental health crisis, building on the expertise they already have.
