East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust partners with We Can Talk

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust and We Can Talk have partnered to make mental health training available across the organisation.

Over 6,500 staff, students and volunteers at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust — which provides acute and tertiary care from the Lister Hospital and other sites to a population of around 600,000 people across east and north Hertfordshire and central Bedfordshire — can now access the one-hour, all-age course designed to build confidence in supporting patients who attend hospital in a mental health crisis.

Staff, students and volunteers at the trust can access We Can Talk through the organisation’s unique registration link. If you work at the trust and haven’t yet received your access link, email team@wecantalk.com and we’ll provide it.

About We Can Talk

We Can Talk is a one-hour, self-directed mental health training course, created with people who have lived experience of attending hospital in a mental health crisis. It gives every member of hospital staff — clinical and non-clinical — the knowledge, skills and confidence to support patients in mental health crisis, building on the expertise they already have.
