East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and We Can Talk have partnered to make mental health training available across the organisation.
More than 8,500 staff, students and volunteers at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust — one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals serving a population of around 700,000 people in east Kent — can now access the one-hour, all-age course designed to build confidence in supporting patients who attend hospital in a mental health crisis.

About We Can Talk
We Can Talk is a one-hour, self-directed mental health training course, created with people who have lived experience of attending hospital in a mental health crisis. It gives every member of hospital staff — clinical and non-clinical — the knowledge, skills and confidence to support patients in mental health crisis, building on the expertise they already have.
